-Any individual with both parents being Agarn citizens automatically gains Agarn citizenship.

-Any individual who has legally emigrated to Agarntrop and resided there for over 5 years may be granted citizenship with domestic office approval.

-The children of any two individuals described as above or of one individual described as above and another which resides in Agarntrop legally may be granted citizenship.

-The children of one individual residing in Agarntrop who has legally emigrated here whether or not they meet the citizenship requirements and another who does not reside in Agarntrop shall not be granted citizenship until the other legally emigrates to Agarntrop.

-Agarn citizenship cannot be bought or given on the basis of property ownership under any circumstances.

-Individuals recognised as illegal immigrants by the domestic office and their children will not be granted citizenship until they are legalised.

Aquariea 1933 The question of citizenship was addressed specifically in the 1933 Congressional Convention. As such, an individual who is born in any territory of Aquariea or has an immediate relative who is of Aquarian citizenship will have citizenship. Note: Aquarian Law defines "Immediate Family Member" as the following: Grandmother, Grandfather (Grandparents), Mother, Father (Parents), Wife, Husband (Spouse), Child(ren), and Sister, Brother (Sibling(s).) This would include same-sex families and through adoption. Requirements are outlined:

- An individual must be in Aquariea on a valid visa to apply for citizenship unless there is a Free Movement Agreement between the country of origin and Aquariea OR if there is an extenuating circumstance (refugee, financial, etc.)

- Once in Aquariea on a valid visa for at least 2.5 years, an individual may apply for Residency status.

- After obtaining Residency status, an individual must live in Aquariea for 5 years, after-which the immigrant & their family may apply for full citizenship (Note: Only one individual of the family may become a citizen & thus their immediate family members may apply immediately through citizenship without having ever step foot in Aquariea with or without a visa.)

Note: Those with serious criminal offenses (primarily violent crimes) are usually restricted from obtaining visas, residency, or citizenship; there are exceptions, however, it is on a case by case basis. Minor crimes are acceptable so long as they are truthfully explained in detail. A criminal offense does not count towards this restriction if the criminal act is legal in Aquariea but illegal in their country of origin (such as differing drug laws, etc.)
