|colspan="15" align="left"|Laws regarding drug use in Slovunia are very strict and have not experienced a major rework since more than two centuries. With the exception of caffeine, stores need a special permission in order to sell drugs which are not generally prohibited legallly. Selling a drug which is legal or partially legal itself ithout the authority to do so typically results in a fine of [[Zolotoy|Ԑ]]50 to Ԑ250 (or $100 to $500). Even higher fines or several years of prison await those who are caught selling an illegal drug – including tabaco – and fines of up to Ԑ3450 ($6900) have to be paid depending on the exact drug, amount and the fact if it is organized or not. Who is not able to pay has to spent between six months and 25 years in prison. People consuming an illegal drug face fines between Ԑ20 and Ԑ250 ($40 and $500).

Subsequent to the Supreme Court of Ainin ruling in Victor v. Ministry of Justice striking down most recreational drug prohibitions as contrary to the Aininian Charter of Civil Rights in 1997, the Parliament of Ainin has not reintroduced legislation to enact drug bans. Ainin is one of the only countries in Esquarium where recreation drugs are not limited by criminal law. However, most are regulated as "controlled substances" under food inspection legislation.

Luziyca's drug policy is one of the strictest, due to a War on Drugs going on since the late 1980s. It is typically viewed as a criminal issue, with mandatory sentencing for possession being common. In recent years, some regions have legalized marijuana (though heavily regulate it), or decriminalized it, much to the chagrin of the federal government.

Despite the illegality of hard drugs, substance abuse is treated as a public health matter rather than a crime in Montecara. Users are rehabilitated rather than imprisoned, though the sale of "fraudulent medicines" (as illegal drugs are technically categorized) is a crime. Cannabis is legal and can be bought in tobacco shops, and can also be prescribed by a physician to treat medical conditions, in which case it is provided free of charge under the national health insurance program.

1Opium smoking only
Most drugs are illegal under Xiaodongese law which enforces mandatory sentencing if one is caught in possession of illegal drugs. Recreational use is limited to alcohol, caffeine and opium smoking which is seen as a cultural tradition in Xiaodong. Although laws regarding illegal drug use and possession are seen as harsh, enforcement is often weak especially in rural areas.
