Vehicle registration plates, alternatively and commonly referred to as number plates or car plates, are alphanumeric plates affixed to a vehicle used to display the vehicle's registration mark. Freice, a country of the Riamese Federation uses its own variation of registration plates in accordance with federal guidelines. The international vehicle registration code for Freice is RIF.
Plates of vehicles, trailers and motorcycles
Freician registration plates follow the same standard format as other areas under Riamese jurisdiction. They consist of two letters and a numeral, followed by up to three numerals. The alphanumeric details are contained within a black border. The flag of Riamo and Riamo's registration code (RI) is displayed on the left of the plate. Freice's registration code is not displayed.
Between the two sets of alphanumerals is the federal variant of the coat of arms of Freice, denoting that the car is registered to Freice.
Special plates
Registration number F1
is reserved for, and displayed on the Maaita of Freice's car. The President of the Representative Council uses the F2
registration number, and the President of the Policy Development Committee uses the F3
registration number. Freician hire cars have a black star on a yellow background affixed to the car and forms part of the registration number.
Colours
Special plates denoting a certain type of vehicle are coloured according to federal guidelines.
- Diplomatic plates feature white alphanumerics on a red plate. These plates use the following registration format: FE1 111. FE denotes a Freician diplomat.
- Emergency plates feature white alphanumerics on a blue plate.
