The Fresian Confederacy is located in Eastern Olivacia, Anteria and is 1,309,635.219 km2 (Mainland: 1,309,148.278 | Islands: 486.941) with the terrain being mostly open plain, tropical savannas and only a few tropical forests exist near the north with the climate being tropical and shares a border with Antara and Viriditasia. The national capital of the Fresian Confederacy is Seafort, with the royal capital being in Kenigineferbliu where the Royal family has been residing since 1325. Other metropolitan areas in the Fresian Confederacy include but are not limited to; Seafort, Nardmarste, Viriwacht, Fort Ferbining, Fort Antera, Fort Simas, Anfoje Stason, Weststêd, Lânbougrûn, Handel Sintrum, Grutter Pleats, Oarlochstêd, Earsteoerwinning, Grutteoerwinning, Lêsteferdigening, Stêdfan Ljocht, Nij Dorestate, Rykdom Paradys.

The Fresian Confederacy is a formidable power on the east side of Olivacia with both a strong military and many trade networks internationally. After the Red Revolt, the private sector had experienced slow growth in the economy as lighter restrictions were passed for businesses and international trade. The Fresian Confederacy is one of the biggest providers of commodity goods and electronics making moderate contributions to science and technology with major prioritization of creating trading networks to set the Fresian Confederacy as one of the leading trading partners in the world. Fresian Confederacy's Human Development Index is considered very high with an average life expectancy of 80 years old.

Internationally the Fresian Confederacy’s citizens are known as Fresians, the reasoning behind this is that anti-monarch revolutionaries in 1810 were looking for a name to separate themself from the Nördlichemänner Reich which ultimately came to combining the Anglish words Free and Frisian to make Fresian. When the revolutionaries won The Revolution of 1812, they all came together to form a centralized government and declared themselves the Fresian Confederacy.

History

Westgermanischer Horizont

The first signs of humans related to the Fresian Confederacy can be traced back to 3100 BC when Nördlichemänners moved to South-Eastern Olivacia, one could assume they built tribes and chiefdoms as nothing was recorded until around 500 BC to 1249 AD where the first principalities and kingdoms were written in to account with these Nördlichemänners principalities speaking many different languages like Südlichewörter, Eerstetaal, or Anglish, and many who ruled over the land being small and weak with some exceptions like the Desúdlikesee Kingdom, Kingdom of Handel, and the Rysfjild Kingdom. By 500 BC there were many different states in the region with their own cultures and language, they existed happily for years with minor hiccups like some of smaller principalities starting to merge their cultures with others due to either diplomatic reasons or powerful neighbor on their doorstep, this tenuous peace came crashing down in 25 BC when prominent Nije Noardlikeminsken states came together and pressed for Noardwurden and Anglish to be official languages for the region by pressuring other kingdoms and principalities to only speak in Noardwurden and Anglish during trade and diplomatic visits, leading to the formation of a union of Eerstetaal states called the Boeren Unie, and a Südlichemänner coalition called the Südlichewörter Reich, who all formed due to Nije Noardlikeminsken aggression but didn't assist each other in defeating them ultminatly dividing the region into three linguistic spheres and starting the Krieg der drei Reiche (War of the Three Empires) over which language should be spoken in the region, marking both an exceleration in cultural integration and years of bloodshed due to more principalities and smaller kingdoms being pushed to either intergrate with more powerful kingdoms thus becoming vassels or face annihilation and possibly have their tradition wiped out, which many states chose the former leading to the empowerment of the Boeren Unie, Noardwurden Ryk, and the Südlichewörter Reich due to this war-of-influence. In 140 AD a deadly disease known as the Yellow Wasting had wiped out 15% of the population causing disruptions in the war effort on all sides and trade staggered as the three empires looked to bear more control over their land to prevent the further spread of the Yellow Wasting within their own lands while also using this to sabotage other states by exiling infected members to enemy territory, by 800 AD many battles were fought like the Battle of Offenes Feld, Battle of Königsfluss, and the Battle of Oerwinning Heuvel with the three kingdoms fighting for nearly 775 years.

Eventually in 810 AD the Boeren Unie negotiated peace with the Noardwurden Ryk settling on an agreement on neutrality but not total cease in future hostiles, and then in 825 AD the Südlichewörter Reich and the Noardwurden Ryk signed the Treaty of Freundschaft to unify under one empire under the condition that Noardwurden is spoken as the official language for trade and Südlichewörter was the official language for governance thus ending 75 years of war and the creation of the Normen Empire. Though peace was made between the Noardwurden Ryk and the Südlichewörter Reich they had to find a figurehead for the empire who the majority of the states chose Handeliedster Fuskje to fill, Fuskje was an interesting women as she had accomplished many things in her life that made her the Handeliedster of Kingdom of Handel so while she had many different achievements in her life her greatest one was raising her hometown from a poor settlement to a strategically important trade hub between the Südlichewörter Reich and Noardwurden Ryk making her the perfect monarch for times of peace and a capable diplomat/spy due to her manipulative nature.

Opkomst Fanit Noarden

In 1425 AD the Boeren Unie made several business ventures which had resulted in failure causing their sovereign to seek ways to keep his empire financially afloat leading to a proposition from the east to merge with the Nördlichemänner Reich, at first it was turned down but as the years went on it became evident that the empire would fall due to internal struggles brought on by the financial situation. So with his empire on the verge of bankruptcy, he had no choice but to accept the proposition which sparked protest from some member states and their withdrawal in 1680 to form their own empire called the Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk. The Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk started off well with many foreign investments creating an upwards trend in their economics which resulted in them being able to pay off their predecessor's debt to their investors, eventually however their investments started to falter by 1702 AD they had defaulted all their investors and went into bankruptcy which members of the Nördlichemänner Reich took advantage of by exchanging capital for Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk land, moreover this started the gradual integration of Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk into the Nördlichemänner Reich after states intentionally sabotaged deals between Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk and their clients resulting in them losing more money and turning to sell their land as the only option to stay afloat with entire Nederlands-Vlaams Rijk states either joining or sold off to Nördlichemänner Reich.

In 1421 AD, a land expedition westward began with the Queen’s permission, with a couple of realms gathering men for an expedition team and riding off westward until they reached an endless body of water. The expedition team is recorded to have encountered villages, tribes and small communities but were neither as powerful as the great empire. That was until 1423 when they were travelling on a dirt road with scribes recording the beautiful scenery before the expedition was ambushed by a warlord's army, the warlord's soldiers realized that they had attacked foreigners when the expedition scribes started pleading in Noardwurden and decided to escort them out of their lands but were unable to due to a language barrier, this strange event was recorded down by scribes and is the first written account of Hoterallian in Noardwurden text, the two sides continued to haggle before the expedition team decided just to return back to Nördlichemänner Reich and end their adventures there. When they returned home, they reported their findings to the queen who was angered at the news of an attack on her people but didn't pursue prosecution with the expedition team reasoning that it would take too much effort to move her majesties army too far away lands. Further expeditions were put on hold until 1599 when a wealthy merchant decided to fund an expedition for new trade routes, the merchant decided to investigate further into the lands in the west by funding a new team to continue the journey westward even going as far as to get a Noardwurden translator who understood Hoterallian and knew how to speak and read it, with the Queen's permission the team set westward to seek diplomatic relations with this kingdom that their translator spoke about while also negotiating and marking down places of interest before arriving at the kingdom known as Hoterallia in 1601. They started approaching locals and requesting directions towards their sovereign eventually they asked a couple of nobles who lead them to their emperor, arriving at their sovereign’s palace they were granted a meeting with the emperor but trouble immediately arose when the envoy sent to negotiate on the queen’s behalf didn't understand Hoterallian culture leading to mishaps and misunderstanding which slowed negotiations until the troubles were cleared, most of the conversation between the two sides boiled down to trade and how it would be beneficial for both kingdoms if both sovereigns lowered taxes on goods. The expedition team left the palace in high spirits as they had settled an agreement with the Hoterallian emperor for a mutually beneficial trade agreement between the vastly different kingdoms.

In 1530 AD, ships of Neuew landed on the shores of Wetterside Territoaria. Many foreigners have come to the Grutte Ryk fan Keapman before with a variety of intentions and these foreigners were not much different, they called themselves Neuew from the land of Neuewland and many had come to settle on the coast to establish port settlements and make a living in the empire. The lord of the realm wasn’t really pleased with this but gave them some unclaimed land to work with. Though the land given was considered barren, the Neuew managed to scrape together a settlement on the coast and started growing and expanding as they traded with the locals, integrated with the empire’s customs and made friends in the royal court. By the time of 1595 AD, the Neuews had established around 5 official settlements with 3 of those being major port cities, and through careful consolidation of power, some of the Neuews even became part of the empire’s royal court and stayed loyal until 1812.

Dawn of the Blues & Reds

By 1810 a movement called the Fresian Democracy had began to pick up steam as more people began to become educated, develop a sense of national unity, and were actively calling for more freedom & rights causing the empire to roll back many progressive acts and actively suppressed any royalist opposition in an attempt to hold onto their power, but the fire of revolution had already been kindled and their presistent suppression of the movement would lead to the Revolution of 1812 where revolutionaries known as the Free Frisian Army rose against the monarchy along with rebels calling themselves the Free Antara Milita in the North-Eastern states who wanted complete independence from the Nördlichemänner Reich. The Royalist and Fresians fought hard until 1815 when both loyalists and revolutionaries decided to call a ceasefire and negotiate terms, both sides met on January 1st, 1816 and laid out their terms which after some haggling from revolutionaries resulted in the Treaty of Kenakû in which the empire will make a new constitution which will allow a civilian parliament turning the absolute monarch into a constitution one but the treaty left out the North-Eastern portion of the Empire who wanted complete independence from the Empire which the FFA refused which resulted in the Siege of Fort Grienheuvel between Free Frisian Army and Free Antaran Militia which resulted in heavy losses on the FFA leading into the Treaty of Grienheuvel in September resulting in the formation of the Free States of Antara. After the civil wars the FFA split themselves into three nations each with a different amount of states between them like the Deutscherbezirk which split itself into 3 states, Wetterside Territoaria had 4 states within their district, and the Nederlands-Vlaamse Gebieden split into 10 different states who eventual had to recognize the city Elanderfestelan as an independent state. With these newly founded nations came the problem of governance almost splitting the regions into civil war almost instantaneously until the creation of the Dreierfreundschaft in 1821, it was an agreement between the states to cooperate with each other in a council made up of representatives from all states who would discuss, debate, and pass decisions. The agreement also made a military alliance between the three regions to assist in the defence of the whole region but were not obligated to assist each other in foreign invasions. Even though the region was split into three nations there still existed political parties which often banded together across the border, this is evident with the creation of the Fresian Democratic Party, Republican Conservatives Party, and many other parties in the coming years with members often being in different states within different nations with in the region which was later named Fresia after the signing of the Dreierfreundschaft.

During 1860 the Free States of Antara reformed into the United States of Antara which caused quite a stir in the populace at the time, parliament never seriously considered Antara as a viable ally in the future due to their fractured state but now the house was debating whether a delegation should be sent to the new nation to re-foster relations between the two after past grievances, in the end a team was sent to secure an embassy and ambassadors on both sides to open basic diplomatic channels between to two nations, when the delegation arrived they were greeted neutrally by the border guards and shifted into a meeting with an Antaran representative to discuss if they should both open an embassy in their countries and whether they should have an ambassador on both sides, in the end the Antarans agreed on both terms and the delegations was sent on their way to deliver the news. During the next few decades the Fresian Confederacy and the United States of Antara both opened their borders towards each other meaning that Fort Antara along with it’s nearby outposts were decommissioned turning it into a national monument and its surrounding expanded for residential use, in 1901 both nations met within Fort Antara and brokered a trade agreement between each other in 1902 marking Antara as the first nation to have gained tariff-free trade with the Fresian Confederacy.

1870 marked the start of the Gilded Period, where unprecedented economic prosperity and corruption grew until 1920. During this time period, corporations and trust companies rose to power both economically and politically, as major republicans and other major politicians were bribed by big companies to allow them to control the market without legal repercussions. This went on unnoticed by the general public until a news magazine came out of a news outlet called the Seafort News which set off a chain reaction that lead to the creation of the Miller Act named after Henry Miller who was the main composer of the new Anti-Trust Bill which set minimal prices for products and fees, opened the Ministry of Domestic Defence and gave more power to the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Domestic Affairs to investigate and hold a Corrupgeprof for any official assisting a monopoly or is holding personal benefits over the country.

1930 marked a recession when the Seafort Stock Exchange Market lost 10% during February and another 30% during March. Many big business investors lost their money resulting in cut wages and massive layoffs causing workers to protest against the corporations demanding the government to step in who did nothing and even started accusing the workers of being the cause of the economic issues by blaming them for not saving their money for such an occasion, not trying to find another job despite the lack of work and labelled them socialist which angered the protestors and caused them to protest even more against both the corporations and the government with the famous slogan "Stop your lies, improve our lives", this led to the military being called in to disperse the crowds despite the Chief of Law Enforcement's objections which angered most of the police force and workers for having military involvement in a civil matter, this all led to the 1932 Socialist revolution known as The Red Revolt and then later The Purple Revolt. After The Purple Revolt, the government stepped in and passed bills aimed at lowering poverty and raising employment by forcing companies to pay their workers a minimum wage set by the government and increase or decreased based on the inflation rate, in exchange the government would open up contracts for companies to be evenly distributed by the Ministry of Commerce and enforced by the Ministry of Domestic Defence.

Modern Times

The Fresian Confederacy joined the Eastern Anterian Commonwealth's economic union making it an associate but not a full member until in April 3rd when the Fresian Confederacy renounced its association with the alliance. Debates still rage to this day whether this hurt the economic prosperity of Fresia by picking a side between the Saltstil Pact and the Eastern Anterian Commonwealth rivalry.

Politics

The Fresian Confederacy is a Constitutional Monarchy where the monarch was reduced to a figurehead until in 1990 replaced the role of the Kenigineferbliu mayor, given special privileges in the federal government, and still retained the status of a monarch. Elected Prime Minister George Clinton is the current leader of the Fresian Confederacy with Chief of Staff Nate Webley. The Fresian Confederacy government follows a democratic voting system called Trigstinepas which requires any federal law or legislation to be passed through the House of Representatives, Hall of Governors, and the Chamber of Ministers in that order and pass with 51% of the members voting for it.

The Fresian Confederacy’s legislative body is a Tricameral Parliamentary system which consists of the House of Representatives that has 251 seats and is elected by popular vote using a single transferable vote system every 4 years. The Hall of Governors consists of all the mayors and governors that is recognized by the Fresian Confederacy and is elected through popular vote using a single transferable vote system every 2 years. The Chamber of Ministers consists of all the ministers of different departments of state and also includes the royal family and Chief of Staff. The office of Prime Minister holds executive power over the whole country and is elected through federal elections by popular vote using a Two-Round vote system where the top two candidates of the first election get to move on to the second election while everyone else is eliminated from the election. There is also a system called Corrupgeprof that can remove anyone from office if the one in question does something unconstitutional.

There are many political factions in the Fresian Confederacy, but the major political powerhouses are the Fresian Democratic Party and the Republican Conservatives Party from 1812 to 2022. Though these powerhouses are big on their own, coalitions and back-door deals have been happening ever since the 1900s, some of the parties recognized by Fresians are:

Ministries

There are multiple ministries that maintaining and improving the life of all Fresians. Ministers in charge of these ministries serve for life which means that if a minister was to be removed or retire then the Prime Minister will choose a new minister or be recommended as a replacement by a previous minister and go through an election process that needs to see a 2/3 majority by the House of Representatives and a 51% majority in the Chamber of Ministers.

Federal Domestic Security Agency

Domestic security in the Fresian Confederacy is under the Ministry of Civil Defence's jurisdiction and is run by the Federal Domestic Security Agency which acts like a central agency for police departments on all levels of government. There are two law enforcement organizations in the FDSA such as the National Police Force and the Fresian Border Security Agency. The Federal Domestic Security Agency works in collaboration with the Military Intelligence Agency to identify foreign spies or politically radical citizens with the surveillance network built by the MIA and if they become a threat to national security they will be arrested by NPF and secretly sent to an MIA Detention Centre for interrogation with those found guilty being executed or given life imprisonment depending on the threat severity followed by a wipe of all of their public records from Fresia's database and an agent either sent in as a body double to facilitate a breakup or as a Civil Servant informing the family of a made-up story about the suspect's death.

National Police Force

The National Police Force is the conventional force employed across the country with the sole duty of protecting the average Fresians on the streets by patrolling their assigned stations and providing surveillance in large densely populated areas, the National Police Force isn't allowed to provide their officers with firearms due to the Stêdandegutar Act and thus the police are usually equipped with a baton, taser and a pepper spray with only a few officers equipped with kevlar and replaced their tasers with a pistol meant to act as Rapid Response Unit until the better equipped Special Firearms Enforcement Team arrive.

The National Police Force doesn't permit ordinary officers to handle firearms with only the Special Firearms Enforcement Team, Military Intelligence Agency and the Fresian Border Security Agency, the reason for this lack of armaments for local officers is due to the Stêdandegutar Massacre of 1945 in which 200 immigrants were killed in retribution after several socialist revolutionaries killed 4 officers in a patrol which accumulated public outcry against armed law enforcement prompting the Fresian Government to pass the Stêdandegutar Act in 1955 which limited local law enforcements to disarm and the creation of the Special Firearms Enforcement Team.

The Special Firearms Enforcement Team is a detachment of the National Police Force who are meant to back the NPF when they need firearms for any dangerous situation that required heavier firepower, they consist of Riot Police, Special Weapons And Tactics operatives and police officers who equipped with Assualt Rifles and SMGs.

Fresian Border Security Agency

The Fresian Border Security Agency is the main force deployed around the border, checkpoints, ports and maritime border to ensure that no unauthorized personnel cross the border and that illegal merchandise is kept away from the Fresian Confederacy. The FBSA is under the direct control of the Ministry of Domestic Defence instead of the Ministery of Civil Defence and all cases relating to smugglers. Illegal immigrants are passed down to the Ministry of Domestic Affairs to be reviewed if the MDA has rejected them, their case will be handed back to the MDD which will review their case to determine their punishment.

Military Intelligence Agency

The Military Intelligence Agency was formed in 1930 and is the main espionage force under the Fresian Confederacy, their main Headquarter is located in the city of Kenigineferbliu and they work alongside the Ministry of Civil Defence and Ministry of Domestic Defence but is under no Ministry's jurisdiction. When the MIA first formed the force mostly consisted of police officers, civilians and criminals willing to work for the government where they would be trained by Special Operations Command operatives and former spies the reason behind this was because of the Red Scare which saw a considerable amount of fear against communism leading to a need of a force that can conduct surveillance secretly and feed the National Police Force and Fresian Border Security Agency of "Illegal Personnel" which would eventually lead to their discovery after Operation Red Storm which saw several hundred suspected communist to be executed many of which were civilians. After the Stêdandegutar Act, the MIA was now publically accountable for their actions and were now able to be sentenced if they were to be found guilty of a crime.

Fresian Armed Forces

The Fresian Armed Forces is the main military force in the Fresian Confederacy and was formed in 1818 after the disbandment of the Free Fresian Army due to the need for a professional force on the sea rather than just on land. The FAF started with the two most basic branches with were the Fresian Confederate Army and the Royal Fresian Navy, then the Special Operations Command in before the National Frisian Air Force and the Military Intelligence Agency were formed in 1930 due to the outbreak of the Red Revolt.

The Fresian Armed Forces are moderately funded taking up 1.5% of the national GDP (41.75 Billion Dollars) and is a decent-size military force on the continent acting as a peace-keeping force to all hostile forces in Southern Olivacia, the constitution allows the deployment of the FAF within the country whenever the administration deems a situation is too dangerous for conventional police forces but a military deployment into foreign lands must be in direct response to a threat against Democracy, approved by a 2/3 majority in the House of Representatives and a 3/4 majority by the Chamber of Ministers.

The military is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of War which controls the three branches of the military; Fresian Confederate Army, Fresian Navy and the National Frisian Air Force. The Fresian Armed Forces work off an all-volunteer military system with 764,097 personnel on reservation records and 58,600 in active service (as of 2022). The constitution allows the government to gather military registeration for men and women from the age of 24 to 28 and enact mandatory conscription if the nation was ever fighting a defensive war in the Fresian Confederacy, volunteers in the military are given health and economic benefits if they serve within the military for 4 years and military promotions and honours will be allowed for anyone wishing to continue to serve after 4 years.

National Frisian Air Force

The National Frisian Air Force was formed in 1907 and was first established for aerial reconnaissance missions during the Red Revolt after the revolutionaries began conducting unconventional warfare that would normally be undetectable on the ground by the army, so the need for aerial reconnaissance became a demand by the army which lead to the Minister of War to look into aviation from around the world to fit this need. The air force stayed a reconnaissance force for a while until the need for a faster method of infantry support was demanded by the army to help support large-scale infantry campaigns and Airborne Assaults against Frisia-Hollandia leading to the NFAF conducting combat operations and close air support.

The National Frisian Air Force has 400 reservists and 600 personnel in active service as of 2022 and currently employs 12 Skyboat Bell, 45 AJ-9E, 2 GS-65, 50 TP-3E, and 25 TJ-19E which forms 2 Air Wings in the NFAF.

The National Frisian Air Force's doctrine revolves around providing close air support to ground units which means that air superiority is crucial for the air force's doctrine causing the air force to focus their efforts on fighters and ground-attack aircraft.

Economy & Demographic

The Fresian Confederacy holds one of the largest economies in the world, having a nominal GDP of 2.78 Trillion. A 2021 Census revealed that Fresia has currently has 70.75 million citizens in the workforce with 4% of them being unemployed and below the poverty line, the Fresian Confederacy also has proud history of having one of the world's most prestigious education system with a 96% secondary education attainment.

The Fresian Confederacy is a large international trade partner mainly exporting PC components, Crude Petroleum, Aeroplanes, Vehicles, Medicine, Alcohol, Weapons, Coffee, Chocolate, Fruits, Textiles, Tobacco, and Sugar to countries all over the world Abjekistan, Neuewland, New Sebronia, Frarstizk, and Gassasinia. Fresia’s largest imports are Vehicle parts and instruments, Refined Petroleum, Broadcasting Equipment, Machinery, Chemicals, Refined Metals, and Tea from countries like Bakyern, Frarstizk, Gassasinia, Hatstheput, Neuewland, and Kistolia.

Education

Education has a long and important part in shaping the Fresian Confederacy from the establishment of Schools of Philosophy in the 400s BC which would eventually influencing future revoltuions like the 1812 Revolution and the early stages of tutoring and tutors in 100s BC who were older merchants teaching their younger generations in their merchant practices and trade so their family trade could carry on and evolve, leading to future merchants who travelled to other lands from their hometowns and sometimes tutored outsiders to pass on the trade, this tutoring system eventually led to the establishment of private educational institutions like universities and merchant schools in the 1300s as a centralized institution for nobles and merchants.

In the 1600s the Royal Navy introduced the Skipyntelliginsje Decree which required naval officers and admirals to graduate from naval academies certified by the Royal Navy and enforced standards and inspections for naval academies to keep up with or else they would be shut down, this would eventually expand to the army in 1819 setting the same standards set out by the Royal Navy in the 1600s while the Navy had extensive research in training practices and ethics and had been updating their policy consistently since the Skipyntelliginsje Decree was introduced.

Welfare

The Fresian Confederacy’s welfare system is managed by multiple private organizations that have collectively earned high amounts of praise from the Fresians through their programs and benefits and while there are many out there who provide varies amounts of benefits to certain groups, there are several organizations who contribute to the welfare system but the two most renowned groups are the Alliance of Agricultural Advancement and National Proletariate Organization who's continentally known for their contributions to the quality of life of their members.

Industry

The Industrial Escalation greatly improved the industrial sector of the Fresian Confederacy and after the Augmentation of Industrialism, the country had fully transitioned into an industrial society, though agriculture was mostly neglected during the Industrial Escalation which nearly became a deadly mistake the Augmentation of Industrialism ushered in some new reforms and policies to help incentives people without unemployment within the urban sectors to work on allocated farmland in rural areas reserved for agriculture goods.

Due to scientific innovation and achievements during the Industrial Escalation the consumer services, material, technology and manufacturing industries had begun taking off, and as the Augmentation of Industrialism neared the Ministry of Domestic Affairs created the Department of Agricultural Logistics & Strategies which worked with the Department of Agriculture. Together they created multiple programs and passed a few policies that incentivized the unemployed and people unable to pay bills to move from an urban city to a rural farm.

As the Gewoan Maitiid Age neared its end, the technology sector of the economy had take off as computers and telecom had researched and innovatived at a rate unseen before leading to The Technological Ascension which revolutionized the service industry by creating the telecom industry and entertainment industry while also creating the electronics industry within Fresia.

Agriculture

Agriculture had always been a major part of a Fresian's life from the early years of the Handel Age to the present day, this is usually the reason why Fresians are hard-working and kind to others because it's believed that back then when crop failures happened, Fresian farmers often stockpiled food in case of such events so that they can share it to those in need and in return the community respected farmers and provided them with money and tools if they were to fall on hard times. Fresia grows a variety of crops and trees but the largest have been Bananas, Cocoa and Coffee beans since the early 20th century.

During the Industrial Escalation in the 1800 farmland was collectivized by the Fresian government causing massive protests against the government who rolled out the Green Act in 1805 and started evenly redistributing the land back to farmers and gave some land to unemployed who were encouraged to move to those lands and make a living from farming on their newly given plot, under the Green Act the government confiscated unclaimed or untended to land suitable for farming and formed the Alliance of Agricultural Advancement to help with farmer's quality of life, needs and representation, they also got the right to distribute the government land to private individuals if they were proven to be unemployed and in poverty.

Culture

The Fresian tradition often values local communities and family as the core of Fresian society, however this doesn't mean that Fresians were necessarily hostile to foreign influence in fact they welcomed foreign culture to be integrated into theirs as long as it didn't threaten the fundamental principles of Fresian culture, this is often thought as the main reason why Fresian culture eventually grew to value trade and prosperity as much as they valued family and their country.

The Anglo-Frisian are a wealthy and well-mannered ethnicity with many being either politicians or well-off entrepreneurs in the continued development of everyday trade and prosperity that the Fresian Confederacy has to offer. Their principles lay square in “Capitalism” which teaches believers that the world is driven by competitive private entities and that those who wish to succeed needs to practice cunningness and hard-work, increasingly a new breed of Anglo-Frisians have been taught that good will drives profitability and that good possitivity drives productivity which is contrary to the belief held by older generations who believed that exploitation was the most cost efficient way to becoming wealthy. While the Anglo-Frisians are usually the driving force behind Fresian economics, the German ethnicity in the Fresian Confederacy would be often described as the military powerhouse in the nation as they are often said to be tough and determined with a majority being either in active military service or police since it’s commonly believed that the greatest thing a German could do for themselves is to enlist in the military or civil protection to earn prestige and achievements for their bloodline. They follow a strict code of honour in their society where it is frowned upon for being “uncivilized” and “reckless”, there’s been a small but growing contingent of Germans in the Fresian Confederacy who have turned towards what is more “feminine occupation” such as being a Docter, Culinary Expert, Scientist, etc. The main workforce of the Fresian Confederacy are the Dutch who are commonly described as a polite and religiously devote, the Dutch prefer an earnest life seeing as the majority are either farmers or factory workers and are observed to be hard-workers by many employers and are commonly deeply Christian or Derpadeskriegis with recent reports of other religions popping up in small mixed communities often seen carrying religious text of their choice around everywhere they go.

There are several different national symbols that represent the Fresian Confederacy like the national animal Harpy Eagle, the national tree the Cornus, and the national flower the Pink Rose.

Arts & Traditions

Fresian long has intellectuals who created many kinds of arts and crafts like literature, painting, architecture, and music creating many historical pieces that are still preserved today. Fresians are also great historians with a particular liking for keeping personal history through oral or written stories, this is the reason behind a famous Fresian tradition dating back to 100 BC where newborns are gifted personal journals so that their history may be recorded from their date of birth to their date of death, these were normally kept in personal storage or given to a local lord but in 1922 all citizens were instructed to give all transcribable text of their family’s origin to a local government-owned office where they would then be given to the Ministry of Domestic Affairs for copying before they are given back to the family of origin.

The Fresian Media is a mix of foreign influence and native culture, often it's known as one of the world's biggest cultural hub in the 20th century with the priority of diversity in every law concerning media being passed being considered from the biggest concern to the smallest problems the Fresian Government of today aimed to protect the freedom of speech from places around the world where it may have restricted, Fresian media platforms is one of the loosest in the entire world with only copyright claims being monitored by the Ministry of Justice to protect everyone's intellectual property.

The Fresian Confederacy recognizes the Freedom of Religion so all holidays are recognized within the nation but only certain religious and symbolic holidays are “Federal Holidays”, these include Christmas on December 30st and Christmas eve which is on December 19th. New Year's Day which is on January 1st and is to celebrate the New Year. Liberation Day is celebrated on January 3rd and is symbolic to the day when the Treaty of Kenakû officially came into effect. Family Week is celebrated on the week of February 21st and is to give parents time to spend some time with their children. Halloween is celebrated on October 31st and was created to increase agriculture sales as an appreciation to farmers in the Wall Street Republic for their service.

Traditional Dishes & Drinks

Traditionally the Fresian cuisine is made of many different ethnic groups within the region before the Age of colonization, most of the dishes are made up of beef, pork, and fish which is generally served with potatoes, rice, or grain with other vegetables thrown into the mix, with some examples like:

Fish Chips

Fish Chips are fishes that have been chopped into small sticks and dipped in batter to be fried for 10 minutes before it’s allowed to be cooled for a few minutes, wrapped in newspaper to keep warm on the journey home which is why it’s one of the Fresian Confederacy’s most popular traditional dishes due to its easy mobility and heat-preservation.

“The Worker’s Meal”

As the Federation of Fresia industrialized in The Industrial Bloom a restaurant from Seafort started making “The Worker’s Meal” which included a healthy scoop of baked beans on a slice of Kartoffelbrot, or mushrooms and tomatoes mixed in mashed potatoes, with a side of bacon and eggs, or cuts of black pudding along with a side of Tuzhu pudding or cookies, this was a huge hit with local factory workers as this mean was sold cheap, was delicious, and provided enough nutrition for workers to work their daily shift without malnutrition, this recipe soon spread around the nation and soon attracted many entrepreneurs to invest in the dish to keep the price at its cheap price for their worker’s morale with even the Fresian government coming in to fund and make it the national dish until 1931.

Schnelles Schweinefleisch

Schnelles Schweinefleisch is a traditional German dish dating back to 20 BC in an effort to feed the increased military of Südlichewörter Reich by producing a fast and delicious meal for their armies on the move, there are debates about the dish’s origins but the majority of people agree that it was created after the Battle of the Strom when Südlichewörter army had nothing but captured pork from the retreating Boeren Unie army, Grüneheißeder Teig (wasabi), and Schwarze Kochflüssigkeit (soya sauce) but no resources to start a fire, this caused a field cook in the Südlichewörter army to experiment with sliced raw pork dipped in Schwarzeflüssigkeitmitgrün (wasabi and soya sauce) which allowed the army to quickly prepare a meal and feed themselves without starting a fire, thus Schnelles Schweinefleisch was born and wasn’t really popular in the civilian population as the dish was only used during emergencies in the military.

Gelukkigochtendmaal

Gelukkigochtendmaal is a traditional meal of the Dutch believed to date back to the discovery of basic culinary skills as the dish consists of Stukje Varkensvlees and a grilled egg with modern versions providing optional sides of mashed potatoes and gravy along with replacing the Stukje Varkensvlees with a piece of Biefstuk.
