Mokhra I (723 – 790) was the son of Lorel III. He was King of Trellin from 753 until his death. He was succeeded by his daughter, Tovelindra I.
Mokhra was a noted military leader during the reign of his mother, Lorel III, when he won a number of victories against the Hyseran Empire, then under Emperor Ruhznya. He succeeded his mother after her death in the plague of 753, which had inflicted such heavy fatalities on both Trellin and Hysera that neither was capable of waging war on the other for decades afterward. Instead, he focused on building on the kingdom's trade links to the east and the Sea of Velar. His general, Marno Arguz, subdued several petty lordships on the island of Morikz and began work on what would become the major port of Vacoas.
