Montecara, also known as Monty, is a person who has participated in NS since 2004. His nation, Montecara, has been located in Kylaris since 8 August 2019 after having been in Esquarium from 16 April 2015.
He was born in Dallas, Texas and lived there for ten years before moving to Washington, D.C., where he still lives. He has a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in history.
He is an ardent foodie and dedicated amateur cook. His favorite cuisines include Italian, Mexican and Tex-Mex, Ethiopian, Thai, and Vietnamese. He is also a great fan of wine, especially of the red variety, and enjoys a nice tequila.
His other interests include film (follow him on Letterboxd), theater, biking, design and architecture, and travel. His favorite musical genres include art pop, chamber pop, indie rock, and trip hop. He is a fan of St. Vincent, Warpaint, Wolf Alice, FKA Twigs, Khruangbin, alt-J, Tennis, Speedy Ortiz, MØ, Nina Simone, Blood Orange, Arvo Pärt, and, above all, Fiona Apple.
