| The Great Sign of Peace statue is a memorium of the 10,403 people that died while attempted to immigrate from Sanjion to Nexalan during the [[The Great Sanjion Immigration of 1934]], when during the time Sajion was a communist country, nobody would be allowed in or out the country and were treated poorly. The statue has the names of people who died all engraved on the back of the statue, as well as a section of unidentified bodies that were buried in the statue. In 1998, the statue was lit on fire by political protesters, because of that, the statue lost its color and was left white with some black marking on it, and in 2001, when [[The Great Yamara 8.4 Earthquake]] occurred, which flooded the memorial where it partially collapsed, it was shortly rebuilt, but unfortunatly some of the bodies in the memorial dissapeared. This statue is considered a sign of hope and community across Nexalan and the Sanjion immigrants. | |||
