Lanoi (Lanoi sprräk [Lanɔɪ sprɛ:k] ( Listen)) is a North-Thuadian Germanic language with about 2 million native speakers predominantly in Lanoista, where it acts as one of the two equal official languages together with Nordsjoni. It is one of the least spoken North-Thuadian Germanic languages.
The most common dialect is Standard Lanoi, which evolved from the north and north-eastern dialects of Lanoi in the 19th century and was well established by the 20th century. Distinct regional and rural dialects exist, however they have been slowly dying out since the start of the 20th century.
