The Vestric Forum (VF; Veleaz: Fòrum Vestrico, FV.) is an intergovernmental regional organization. The most important decisions of the VF are made by the Assembly of the Vestric Forum, a semi-annual meeting of the heads of state and government of its member states.

The Vestric Forum's purpose is to promote itself as a Vestric coordination mechanism for public policies, in defense of democracy, republicanism, the independence of powers, the economy of markets, the social agenda, with sustainability and with due application

Overview

At the Fourth Vestric Summit on 8 September 1999, presidents or representatives from various Vestric nations signed the Jutosa Declaration, a two-page statement of intent announcing the foundation of the Vestric Forum. Liberimery attended the signing ceremony as observers in Zamoros.

The primary objectives of the VF are the following:

• To promote peace, security, and stability on the continent.
• To promote democratic principles and institutions, popular participation and good governance.
• To promote and protect human and peoples' rights in accordance with the Vestric Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights and other relevant human rights instruments.
• To establish the necessary conditions which enable the continent to play its rightful role in the global economy and in international negotiations.
• To promote sustainable development at the economic, social and cultural levels as well as the integration of Vestric economies.
• To advance the development of the continent by promoting research in all fields, in particular in science and technology.

The Vestric Forum is made up of both political and administrative bodies. The highest decision-making organ is the Assembly of the Vestric Forum, made up of all the heads of state or government of member states of the VF. The VF also has a representative body, the Vestric Parliament, which consists of members elected by the national legislatures of the VF member states. Each member state sends a delegation of 10 parliamentarians to the Parliament. The composition of the delegation should reflect the political diversity of the member state's legislature.
