The Diachoric languages, also known as Rennekko-Frigidarian languages, is a language family that encompasses many of the peoples of southern Rennekka and Frigidarum, with a total of XX million speakers worldwide, the largest of any Rennekkan language family. Proto-Diachoric Grammar
- (C)V(N) or (C)V(Q) for the min and max syllable structure. Nasals are the only consonants allowed in the coda however the next consonant may be geminated.
- Animate/inanimate gender with third person pronouns animate *yu and inanimate *na.
- Tripartite (Ergative, Accusative, Intransitive) and possessed/possessive cases.
- Perfect vs. Imperfect aspect system (tense is largely denoted lexically).
- Free Word Order (wahoo), VSO is the basic word order.
- Long vowels are formed via diphthongs.
- Head marking.
- Unmarked Collective (Plural Uncountable) vs. marked Singulative (Singular Countable) number system.
- Verbs do not inflect person but pronouns have clitic forms when next to the verb: *ma, *ta, *yu, *na.
