Due to a lack of registrations, on May 4th, the IFA moved two slots from RISCON to THUCON and on May 5th, the qualifying matches began. The same day, the IFA announced that Halsuntria, Encessia, Lyonheimer, Maricoen, Gran Rudgio, and Hoterallia all received slots from their respective conferences and became qualified to participate in the World Cup. All these nations auto-qualified for the World Cup due to the lack of needing to compete for a slot. They would play friendly non-scoring matches however.
