These figures are considered vital by military analysts, generals, and leaders worldwide. Militaries typically have a range of training and numbers, usually with smaller militaries being more skilled than their larger counterparts. Throughout history, nations have had to defend their borders from hostile powers. This art has continuously evolved over centuries, up into the modern day, where artillery has ranges upwards of 50 kilometers, aircraft can destroy targets they can't even see, and all around, technology is developing rapidly. Even now, many systems that were considered modern last year may be phased out within 20 years. Many militaries take a mix between the extremes of small but highly trained and large but undisciplined.
