The Convention on Polar Frigidarum is an international treaty that governs the continent of Polar Frigidarum. The treaty is a part of the Grand Sachem Conventions and as such was negated and signed in the city of Grand Sachem in the Free States of Liberimery. The convention was negotiated in the mid-1980s and was first signed by all of the original 11 nations that have claims on Frigidarum in 1987. The treaty has since been signed and ratified by nations who do not have claims but may either reserve the right to make claims in the future or are active in research on the continent. The treaty came into effect upon the ratification of at least five of the original signatories.
