The Fifty Years War was a series of conflicts from 1337 to 1389, waged between the Second Drambenburg Alliance and the Kingdom of Mayotte over the right to rule the Palatinate of Aunistria. Each side drew many allies into the war. It was one of the most notable conflicts of the Middle Ages, in which three generations of kings from two rival dynasties fought for the territory of one of the largest kingdoms in Western Euronia. The war marked both the height of chivalry and its subsequent decline, and the development of strong national identities in both countries.
