Vulkar, officially the City of Vulkar, is the capital of Vulkaria and the largest city in the country followed by Amstelveen, as well as one of the largest cities on Iearth. The city is located on the coast of the Strait of Vulkaria and the Toyana Ocean, servicing the waterway's entrance to the Vulkarian Pass. The city is the political and administrative center of the country, as well as a hub for banking and commerce. Vulkar is one of the most important economic, financial, commercial, cultural, transportation, and communication centers in the convergence of Ausiana and Euronia. Its economy is diverse, characterized by the machinery, automobile, medicine, food, and information technology industries. Brooks Steen International Airport, a hub of Air Vulkaria and Vulk Airlines, is one of the 30 busiest airports in the world, and the Vulkar railway station is one of the three biggest in the country. Vulkar also hosts many international companies and more than 12 consulates, 50 embassies, and museums.

Heavily devestated during the 1983-91 War, the city went through massive rebuilding efforts and, although progress was stunted during the 1999-2005 War, the city quickly reestablished itself as being a prominent powerhouse on the world stage.
