Piva is a city in Durnstaal. Incorporated in 1710, the city's location has allowed it to grow into Durnstaal's largest port. It is the largest metropolitan area on the Bay of Morevo and the 4th busiest port on the Albarine Sea. As of 2020, the estimated population was 9,103,000, making it the most populous city in the country.
City Districts
The Longshore
The southeast section of the city stretching along the coastline. Contains the dockyards and warehouses which service the port.
Malko
The densest part of the city at the center. Contains most of the city's skyscrapers and acts as the economic hub of the city.
Marshalling
The northernmost section of the city. Includes the rail yards, train depots, and surrounding industrial areas.
Kupuva
The northwestern section of the city. The largest commercial zone of the city, the majority of the city's small businesses and major shopping centers are located here. Home to the famous DuPree Shopping Plaza and Saint Durham Cathedral.
Utulny
The southwestern section of the city. Apartment complexes and residential developments that border the suburbs to the west of the city.

Historical Buildings
Drenzor Precipice Lighthouse: Built in 1692, it is the oldest lighthouse in Durnstaal and the oldest active lighthouse in the world. The lighthouse has seen continuous operation for 328 years and still includes parts of the original construction. It is maintained and operated by the City of Piva.
Landmarks
Silver Lake: Artificial brackish lake located in Silvwig Park. Formed in 1659 when the central shaft of a flooded silver mine collapsed, forming a 250 foot deep lake connected to the Bay of Morevo through a series of old mining tunnels.
DuPree Shopping Plaza: The largest shopping center in the country. Outdoor mall opened in 1997 which hosts over 130 different stores and businesses. Named after its designer, famous Alonnisosan new classicist architect Francoise-Anne Dupree.
Professional Teams
Piva Humpbacks: Piva's professional soccer team. Member of the Einhelt League and annual participant in the Einhelt League Championship. Named for the humpback whales which are frequently sighted in the Bay of Morevo and are commonly associated with the city.
Identity
Piva is considered by many to be the face of Durnstaal, coming to mind just as if not more often than Durnen when foreigners think of the country. The city is also one of the most diverse in the nation with 34% of the population having at least one immigrant parent or grandparent, a fact which has created a unique blend of cultures within the city.
Economy
Piva is Durnstaal's main economic link to the rest of the world thanks to housing the busiest port in the country, an international airport, and the endpoint of the nation's largest railway, allowing goods which enter the city to be easily exported or shipped to anywhere in the country. Local manufacturing is based heavily on electronics, most notably on circuit boards and microprocessors which are usually assembled into finished devices before leaving the city. The city also houses a mint and is home to several major banks and corporations. Piva is the most visited city in the country, receiving 58.7 million tourists during 2019.
