The Kingdom of Azil, most commonly known as Azil, is a small nation in the Coalition of Crown Albatross located on the continent of Adula, bordered by Kantoalina, Timeria, and Somodi. It is one of the smallest nations both in population and geographical area on Iearth, with 2.65 million people. The capital and largest city of Tomarka has a population of nearly 800,000 people.

Azil was founded on the back of ancient Buddhist kingdoms which united in the 1600s to become a single state. A royal family was united through the heads of each kingdom, which persisted to the modern era. Today, Azil is one of the few nations that still operates as a totalitarian monarchy, with King of Azil Xerxes Curcian being in power since 1978, propped up by the terrorist and crime syndicate SHADOW. King Curcian's reign has been classified by many nations, most notably Timeria and Austrolis, as a tyrannical dictatorship. Since late 2020, Timeria has conducted military operations inside Azil, mostly in the form of drone strikes, to disrupt SHADOW operations. On March 10th 2021, Timerian bombers destroyed the only nuclear power plant in Azil.

Azil has one of the largest water reserves for hydropower in the world, emphasized by rivers flowing from Lake Senbodia. 50% of the power in the country comes from hydroelectricity. Melting glaciers caused by climate change are a growing concern in Azil.
