Unified Sera: The Kofi National Forest stretches across the heartland of Unified Sera, lying at the intersection of three states: Yobu, Sifya, and Shaka. The Flagstaff Battlefield and Heritage Site, within the Kofi National Forest, serves as a chilling reminder of the Seran Secessionist War that ravaged the region in the past. During this conflict the forest became the focus of the 3rd Federal Army and the 2nd Liberation Army, leading to the most destructive fighting of the war and a monumental loss of life. It is estimated that tens of thousands of soldiers perished in this area over the course of the war;[1] their lives tragically cut short by the brutality of war. Reports of paranormal activity in the Flagstaff Battlegrounds emerged soon after the war ended. Locals and visitors alike have claimed to witness unexplained phenomena, ranging from ghostly apparitions, eerie sounds, and inexplicable cold spots.[2] Over the years, numerous legends and folklore have emerged about the Kofi National Forest and the Flagstaff Battlegrounds. One prominent tale tells of "The Lost Ones," a group of soldiers from the 3rd Federal Army's 9th Company who were slaughtered while charging a machine gun nest. According to the legend, their spirits wander the forest, forever trapped in an ethereal limbo as the soldiers repeatedly charge the location of the by-gone machine gun.[3] Reports of ghostly battles, whispering voices, and the sounds of distant gunfire and artillery are still reported to local authorities by visitors at the park.
