|There is no conscription in effect, and never has been, however, military service is voluntary to both genders, but during times of emergency, a conscription law will be inciated which will conscript to atleast 5% of the population of Nexalan, all of which will be randomly selected people between the ages of 16 to 42 into the military. People who are older than 42 who get conscripted, will have an option to not join the military, and if they do join they will be recruited as a "Military Occupational Specialty", including jobs like translators, military police, parachute rigger, health care specialist, etc. And some may also be recruited as a captain if they have law enforcement experience. | |||
