Bakyern is divided into 6 regional Landkaps which are later divided into Municipalities. Regional Landkaps are able to set up their own laws, regulations, and bills in their own legislative bodies, while municipalities are able to manage their own funding and works that take place in their Municipalities. Major cities have their own special administrative regions.

Bakyern is one of Anteria's richest countries in terms of gross domestic product.
