In mid-1932, ruling King Pajdo la IV attempted to repeal the [[Ŝtatreformoj]], which the free media reported on. Around 400,000 people went out to protest the attempts. Pajdo refused to stop repealing and instead called on police to disperse the protests. This spiraled into the [[Kaoroan Revolution]], and citizens began to forcefully try and destroy the government. Pajdo and his family fled on October 19, 1932 after angry civilians broke into the [[Royal Palace (Kaoro)|Royal Palace]], which was heavily guarded for months.
