Duncan is a city in the Zamastanian Province of Pahl, ranked 10th nationally in terms of population with 3,982,000 inhabitants. It is a hub for economics and banking, as the 19th and 20th centuries formed the city from strafe-mining coal, iron, and copper, and agriculture following the Parabocan War. Duncan's industrial rise came following the war with Paraboca and up until the World War, after which it became a prominent site for the Zamastanian Armed Forces and innovation centers. It was at a facility in Duncan where the first components of the world's introductionary nuclear weapon were developed in 1956. Nowadays, Duncan is a regional center for commerce, services, agro-industries, and universities, including the University of Duncan. The city has cultural, economic and political influence nationally and internationally. It is home to monuments, parks and museums, and is also home to the largest Jewish population in Zamastan outside of Tofino, with about 175,000 Jews.

The city has multiple professional sports teams, including the Revolution (ZFL) and Pines (ZBL).
