Stigmata is a 2018 Zamastanian drama-thriller directed and produced by Travis Brondi, written by Vernon Mullins, and starring Priscilla Lindra, Cyrus Best, and George Davana. The film presents three stages in the life of the main character; his youth, adolescence, and early adult life. It explores the difficulties he faces with his drinking and drug abuse, his identity and job, including the physical and emotional abuse he endures growing up. Filming was completed in Tofino, Zamastan, and premiered on January 4th, 2018. The film grossed Z$102 million against a Z$12 million budget.
The film was nominated for 10 Pine Awards at the 92nd Tofino Film Festival and won 5; Best Picture, Best Director (Brondi), Best Actress (Lindra), Best Original Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.
