Birken is a city in the Zamastanian Province of Jade, and is the 29th most-populous in the country and seventh most-populous in the province with a population of 2,930,000. It is separated from the province of Redeemer’s Land and the Moulins metropolitan area by the Letera River and Fraser Inlet. Birken was founded in the late 1700s during a gold rush to southern Jade, and today the city is a trading center for an extensive cattle-raising and agricultural area.
