Svalberg is a city located in Zamastan and is currently the 27th-most populous city in the country with 3.1 million people. It is the capital and second-largest city of the province of Verdesia, after the city of Aebutius, and is located on the shore of the Cantalle Ocean. Originally inhabited by Caspiaan fur traders in the 1400s, it was later occupied by the Quetanan and Skithan empires before becoming an independent city state in 1808. The city was incorporated into Verdesia after it became a province on November 28th, 1883 immediately following the Verdesia Annexation.
