Abagene is a city in the Zamastanian Province of Pahl, and is the 28th most-populous in the country and seventh most-populous in the province with a population of 2,970,000. The region where the city is located was in the past a waypoint for travellers who wanted to go from the western or southern coasts to the north of the country by land. In the early 1900s a railway was completed connecting Tofino to Abagene, and by 1910 a rail network was established to southern centers like Tregueux and Anchorhead, and eastern centers like Titania. Also in the beginning of the 20th century, a prominent Zamastanian Army Command Center was established in Abagene, making it an important military center for training and logistics. Today, the city has its own culture, which is a mixture of several ethnic groups which makes it one of the most diverse cities in the country outside of the Tofino-Arinals Metropolitan Area and the most diverse ethnic center in Pahl.
