Threat Level Zombie is a 2017-18 Zamastanian zombie-apocalypse comedy and thriller film series written and directed by Travis Brondi and Chant Anderson. The three films in the series are Threat Level Zombie, Infinite Threat Level Zombie, and Threat Level Zombie: Enchantment. Each film stars consistent casting of Travis Brondi and Chant Anderson, with recurring actors including Jesse Simotand, Caleb Giona, Mabree Littleden, and Lucas Reminton. The films were praised for their casting, dialogue, action, and humor, as well as their production quality, though the second and third films were criticized for jumpy plots. Each film cost roughly $23 million to make, and they grossed (in order of release) $204 million, $692 million, and $321 million in the box office.

Threat Level Zombie

In the year 2035, an elite special ops unit is sent to a college campus to rescue survivors in the midst of the zombie apocalypse. The film opens with a foreshadowing montage of most of the main characters being killed off by zombies before cutting back to Chant the Rapper (Chant Anderson) who begins narrating to the audience how long he has been fighting to survive, and how the others have given him a banana instead of a real gun, as they don't trust him to use one properly. In interview fashion, all of the members of the special ops team introduce themselves;

Private Abraham (Travis Brondi), a hardened army officer who is incapable of blinking. Jesse (Jesse Simotand) is a mute soldier who only speaks with not-so-accurate sign language, armed with a modified longbow. Big G (Caleb Giona) is a tough-mannered, safari hat and surfer-shirt wearing man with two broken legs, capable only of walking around on crutches. Brother Lee (Lee Proverbs) is just happy to be a part of the team and is confident that he will never die. Big Joe (Joseph Yannits) is polar-opposite, absolutely frightened and concerned that he will be the first to die.

The group bunkers down in one of the college dormitories. Private Abraham instructs the group that they need to go on a supply run, but as soon as they head out into the main college building, Brother Lee and Big Joe are separated and the latter is eaten by zombies. The camera pans away as Lee becomes trapped at the end of a hallway and is presumed dead. As the group realizes that the two are missing, they notice a working elevator. Much to Big G's delight, he holds back to use it as the group continues on hesitatingly. The elevator door opens, and a zombified Big Joe falls out and rips Big G apart.

The group finds a food storage area in the cafeteria, but as they gather up food, a horde of zombies run towards them from the dark hallway. Jesse tries to hold them off with his bow, but runs out of arrows and is cloths-lined by zombies and torn apart. The only ones left are Abraham and Chant, but as Abraham finally accepts Chant as a survivor, he is bitten by a hidden zombie. Chant escapes and locks himself away in one of the dorm rooms. A montage of Chant cooking ramen in a microwave without water, the room slowly becoming more and more messy, and the film fades to black as he starts laughing maniacally.

A post-credits scene shows a zombie being shot from behind, with Brother Lee standing over the corpse saying "I told y'all I ain't dying."
