Zane Perrin was an Zamastanian lawyer and politician who served as the 4th President of Zamastan from 1832 to 1836. He was the first Liberal Party member elected President, and oversaw extensive territorial growth westward and southward for Zamastan following the purchases made by his predecessor George O'Galvin. Born into a prominent Jade Province farming family, Perrin served as a member of the Congressional Hall during and after the War of Independence, being only 21 years old at the time that the revolution began. He became known for his propositions to enshrine guarantees of personal freedoms and rights within the Constitution of Zamastan upon its ratification in 1807.
