Tirzah is a city in the Zamastanian province of Zian, a suburb of the capital city of Tofino. The city is part of the Tofino-Arinals Metropolitan Area and is located across the Zian River from northern Tofino, connected to the neighborhoods of Kingston via the Kingston Bridge and Belles by the Fraser Bridge. Although it has significant industry of its own – including shipping, chemical production, and film production – the city is usually considered to be a suburb of Tofino. The city is home to many celebrities, luxury hotels, and high end shopping districts, and is known as a lucrative city for residences and vacation spots for elites, millionaires and billionaires, and world leaders. People in the entertainment industry and other affluent residents live throughout the city, yet many residents are middle class. Due to its favorable climate and proximity to Tofino and Arinals, Tirzah became a famed resort town by the early 20th century, attracting celebrities to build magnificent beach front and mountainside homes.

The city has experienced a boom since the late 1980s, through the revitalization of its downtown core, significant job growth, and increased tourism. Popular tourists sites include Olympic Park and Cliff Park atop a bluff over the Horseshoe Bay. As in other coastal beach communities, coastal erosion, due to coastal infrastructure and high human usage, is an increasing challenge, and will become worse due to sea level rise. Tirzah has a history of developing environmental and sustainability strategies, with the most recent focus on community-wide carbon neutrality by 2050 or sooner. Disasters and incidents have occurred in Tirzah in recent years, such as the 2019 nightclub massacre, Coastal Valley earthquake, and the 2015 Hamshere factory fire.
