Delta is a city in the Zamastanian Province of Zian, and is the 16th most-populous in the country and fourth most-populous in the province with a population of 3,340,000. It is a part of the Tofino-Arinals Metropolitan Area. Delta originated in the 1200s as numerous Catica First Nations settlements on the shore of Horseshoe Bay. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the Zamastanian Naval Forces, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. Delta's main economic engines are military and defense-related activities, tourism, international trade, research, and manufacturing.
