Isaac Bernier is a Zamastanian politician and lawyer serving as the senator for Zian's 2nd district, a seat he was elected to in 2010. He is a member of the Green Liberal Party. His seat was won after a hotly contested election with incumbant BCP senator Michael Jonnesan. He previously had served as a Congressman for Zian's 29th district from 2004-10, replaced by Antoinne Roesteed.

Bernier supports social ownership and investment in Zamastan's public services as well as the abolition of university tuition fees. He advocates the reversal of the Conservative Party's cuts in corporation tax and supports anti-austerity proposals. On social inequality, Bernier proposes "national wellbeing indicators" to measure the country's performance on health, inequality, homelessness, and the environment. Bernier advocates government based on, "security, prosperity and respect", as Bernier wants crime reduced maintaining that "too many people do not feel safe in their streets".

Bernier has advocated an end to "illegal wars" and a review of Zamastan's arms export. He has pledged to create a "Prevention of Military Intervention Act", which would only permit lawful military action with the support of Congressional Hall. Bernier called for sanctions against Yuaneze officials who have been involved in human rights abuses, primarily against Manda Pangchu Muslims.
