Collingwood is a neighborhood located in western Tofino as part of its main downtown districts, bordered by Jericho Basin and Donaldson to the south, Armitage to the east, Kitsilano to the north, and Congressional Park to the west. The neighborhood is home to some of the city's most prominent tourist destinations, including the Tofino Symphony Orchestra and sections of the University of Tofino. Collingwood, and adjoining Donaldson, is the country's largest commercial, entertainment, and media center, and also a growing fintech center.
The majority of Tofino's skyscrapers, including its tallest hotels and apartment towers, are in Donaldson and Collingwood. The area hosts commuters and residents working in its offices, hotels, and retail establishments, tourists and students. Olivar Square, the brightly illuminated hub of the Theater District, is a major center of the world's entertainment industry. The neighborhood also has the headquarters of three of the four major Zamastanian television networks.
