Jericho Basin is a neighborhood located in western Tofino as part of its main downtown districts, bordered by Odessa to the south, Donaldson to the west, Collingwood and Armitage to the north, and Melali to the east. Accompanied by neighboring Donaldson, the Jericho Basin district contains more than 60% of downtown Tofino's office space, and is home to headquarters of natural resource and service industry companies. The area contains numerous federal and non-governmental organizations (NGO) offices, overseas missions and consulates, and headquarter and branch offices of national and international banks and financial services, accounting and law firms, and luxury hotels. Jericho Basin is a very popular boating area for many different activities including rowing, canoeing, kayaking, public ferries, charter ships, and visiting pleasure boats. It has 10 marinas with berths for 3500 watercraft, including super yachts, and several paddling clubs or boat rental facilities.
