Natasha Lexi Chastain is a Zamastanian-Avergnonian politician who serves as the representative for Verdesia's 8th congressional district in Congressional Hall, which she has held since 2014. She also served as the 84th Speaker of the Chamber from 2020-2022, succeding Larious Maxwell following his resignation and after the election of President Atticus Moreau, but having been succeded by Alisha Fletcher after the GLP voted to unseat Chastain. Chastain is a member of the Green Liberal Party, and was the fourth woman in Zamastanian history to hold the office of Speaker of the Chamber after Dani Hawthorn (2000-04), Shauna Lultquist (1994-96), and Amella Gavin (1962-64).

Chastain's parents are Avergnonian citizens, giving Chastain duel-citizenship. Her mother's family were Avergnonian immigrants who fled to Zamastan during the World War, and her father was a businessman who immigrated to Zamastan in the 1970s. Chastain was born in Aebutius in 1976 and grew up in the suburbs in moderate wealth. She attended Aebutius North University and graduated with a degree in political science.
