Alutia, officially known as the City of Alutia is the largest city in Alutiana with a population of 2.7 million people. Prior to the Bettencourt Protests and Alutiana's independence in 2021, it was the 32nd-most populous city in Zamastan, and was the capital of the province of province of Alutia, as well as its cultural, economic and financial center. Alutia is located on the shore of the strait between Titania Bay and the Cantalle Ocean. Alutia is a major center and leader in finance, commerce, culture, arts, and international trade. The metro area is by far the largest urban economy in Alutiana and, until independence, was the 12th largest in Zamastan, with a GDP of ℤ344.9 billion in 2017. Alutia ranks highly internationally in business activity, human capital, information exchange, cultural experience, and political engagement. Alutia is a majority-minority city with a Nor-Cantisle (Northern Cantalle Ocean) population of 1,863,102, or 70.2 percent of the city's population, as of 2022.

Alutia was originally settled by indigenous peoples known as the Iluti, who spread throughout the humid marshes in fishing and hunting villages. In 1566, an admiral named Pedro de Avil claimed the area for Quetana. A Quetanan mission was constructed one year later as the first Adulan structure in the area. Ossinia and Quetana successively ruled the area until it was ceded to Zamastan in the 1881 Tregueux Annexation. In 1884, Zamastan built Fort Alutia on the banks of the Ademme River as part of their development of the Alutia Territory, which rapidly grew in population thanks to emerging industrial ports and trading sites. During the World War, the city was the target of Drambenburgian air raids which killed several hundred people. Since then, the city has seen a tremendous rise in new businesses and cultural amenities, while reconciling with a major racial and cultural movement in the 1990s.

Downtown Alutiana had the third tallest skyline in Zamastan after Tofino and Emerald with over 300 high-rises, 55 of which exceed 490 ft (149 m). It has one of the largest concentrations of international banks in Euronia and is home to many large national and international companies. The Health District is home to several major University of Alutia-affiliated hospital and health facilities, academic medical center and teaching hospitals, and others engaged in health-related care and research. The city's seaport is the busiest cruise port in the world in both passenger traffic and cruise lines, and refers to itself as the "Cruise Capital of the World", with stopovers for Belette Cruise Lines, Merlimont Cruises, Luminara Group, and others. Alutia is home to many professional sport teams, including the Thunderbirds, Alutia FC, Colossals, and Surf.
