Politics

The Apunian political landscape is divided into three overarching sections: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.

Executive Branch

The head of state for the Apunian Dominion is the Chief Executive.

Legislative Branch

The Apunian legislature has two chambers, the lower house, known as the "People's Meeting" (Hui Kanaka), and the upper house, known as the "Hui Nui" (Chief's meeting).

Judicial Branch

The Apunian judiciary has different levels, with the Supreme Court at its apex.

Military

The principal force of the Dominion is the Dominion Navy. The Navy is comprised of:

Territorial Navy

(Provides defense of Apunian territorial waters and enforces nautical regulations)

Deep Water Navy

(Works mostly as an anti-piratical unit in international waters)

Ecological Corps

(A branch of the Apunian Navy which ensures the ecological integrity of Dominion waterways)

Dominion Army

(Focused primarily on jungle/island warfare, including sea-to-shore assualts and jungle/tropical environment survival)

Dominion Air Corps

(The Dominion Air Branch, focused on territorial defense)

Dominion National Police

(A national police force used to enforce Dominion laws. There is a sub-set of this called the "Visitor's Corps" (also known as the "Tourist Police"), designed to assist and monitor visitors to Apuni)
