Aamotech South, also known simply as "Aamotech" in Seylos, is the primary combat aircraft manufacturer for Seylos and North Adlantic Union. Aamotech was originally owned in whole by Prymont before the company was sold to the Seylosian government. It has also recently taken a prominent role in the Seylosian space program, having received significant funding to help assist the continued research, development, and manufacturing of rockets.
History
At the end of the 2010s, Aamotech was facing significant financial issues as its international and local customer base dwindled. By 2020, the Kingdom of Seylos was one of the last major customers for Aamotech products, namely the Harrier family of aircraft. Facing bankruptcy, the company put some of its divisions up for sale, with deals concluded between Seylos and Iverica to split the companies military product lines and assets. After finishing the deal Seylos began to immediately incorporate the new Aamotech South into the Seylosian military supply chain. The new state-owned company's fortune's quickly turned around with continued expansion of the Harrier IIIB strike aircraft and the new found popularity of the Lysstråle Multirole within the North Adlantic Union's Ceriser states as a more cheap alternative to aircraft fleet modernization.
Customers
Aamotech South only inherited one international customer from its deal, Gaellicia, which owned and operated the Lysstråle fighter.
Aamotech South mainly only caters to the internal military market of the North Adlantic Union, though the government of Seylos has been willing to extend any needed production to allied nations as well as honor existing contracts on the international market.
