History of Heiheguo

Jump to navigation Jump to search

The history of Heiheguo is a mysterious one, as much of the ancient culture has been lost to time. An event archaeologists believe took place around $YEAR BCE, known today as the "Heihe-dissipation". What exactly happened is still unknown, but many scientists believe that Huang nomads took control of the original Heihe city-state and either completely assimilated the ancient Heiheren, or completely destroyed the culture. What is known is that after this event, the original Heihe civilization ceased to exist, and a new, Huang speaking, civilization took its place. This lends to the idea that a Huang nomad took over, rather than the complete destruction of the old culture, since it seemed to be a willing transition to the new ways. Why little remains of the original Heiheren is a mystery yet to be solved.

Circa 1400 BCE, records show that this new Huang civilization on the Heihe river, Heiheguo, had been trading with both the Yellow Empire and Esonya. Evidence of gems and other goods not native to the river valley show that they had some contact with their nearby neighbors.
