Kotowari City (Kelugu: Kōṭavāri Nagaraṁ, Ramil: Kōṭṭōvari Nakaram) is the capital city of Kotowari and part of the Capital Territory of Kotowari City (CTKC). Kotowari City is the seat of all three branches of the government of Kotowari, hosting the Parliament House, Kottovari Kamyuns and the Supreme Court of Kotowari. It is one of the most populated cities in Europa with a population total of just over 10 million people. It is also one of the most highly densely populated cities in the wurld. As well as being one of the largest cities in Oriental Europa, Kotowari City is an important city for the wurlds Hindu populations.

The city was officially founded by Chandrabha, Prince of the Ramil people in 988 under an unknown name. The city was first documented by early Orinese explorers who travelled down the Vellai River and found the large settlement, which they named "Kiḻakkiṉ Nakai" or "The Jewel of the East". The city grew immensley during the 12th century, becoming one of the largest cities on the whole continent of Europa.

Etymology

Kotowari City historically had the name "Kiḻakkiṉ Nakai", or just "Kiḻakkin", meaning "The Jewel of the East". The name was given to the city originally by Orinese explorers who visited the city in the early 11th century. The first time a name similar to it's modern name was mentioned was in the 1750s, in a scripture written named "Nakaraṅkaḷiṉ Puttakam" which names the city: "கோட்டோவாரி நகரம்" or "The City of Kotovari".
