The Battle of Baie Blanche took place on April 21, 1759. It was part of the Louvian Revolutionary War. It was a raid led by Louvian general Marquis Montfaucon and his native allies. The raid failed, although the fort burned to a large extent. The Marquis was killed in the assault and led to the retreat of the Louvians.
