Etymology
Beautancus is often referred to by other nations as "Cussia". Other variations of this exist, such as the Laimiaic "Koussoeia".
(WIP. Cussia, Cassia, Kasia, Kasie, κασίη. Related to the Cassia flower and cinnamon.[2] Alternatively, we can tie it into Kezia or Keziah, which still mentions the Cassia tree.[3] Unsure though where the "Beau-" prefix fits in.)
Geography
(WIP. Located in the Occident. Next door neighbours include Haruspex, Tagmatium and Adaptus. Landscape includes coastland and inland mountains. Climate is coastal with northern winds.)
History
(WIP. Describe anything Pre-Aroman. What was the relation with the Aroman Empire? How did Cussia survive the collapse? What happened during Medieval and Early modern times? Was there any trouble when the nearby Buran sailed into the Adlantic? How about the revolutionary ages?)
After a long history of confrontation and war with Haruspex, the Great Europan Collapse precipitated a civil war that only ended when Beautancus was annexed by the Sovereign Imperium. This, in turn, caused the Cussian Crisis and the 2020 Haru Civil War.
