Established in 1695 by Patrick X & Olivia II, the college is one of the oldest and most prestigious in the region. Its motto, "Opinn hugur er leiðin til náms," translates to "An open mind is the pathway to learning" in English.

  • Gotneskan Cultural Studies: this course is meant to help students learn and understand the history and traditions of the University home nation.
  • Some degrees will require students to take a language course. Either being Götaish or Meallaigian some courses may require one specificity. But these are not required by the university for students to take but is recommended because most natives outside of university will not speak Anglish. P&O is one of a very few in Gotneska that even have Anglish as an official language of the university.
