The Colony of Hinterlands was a colony of the Anglian Empire and a subject of Great Anglia. It was established around 1630, and existed until Hinterlands gained independence in 1724 following a rift between Hinterlands and the Anglian Government in Godstone, after Anglia didn't support settlers during a famine. The Hinterlands were originally founded as a resource colony to harvest its great quantities of lumber, and as a penal colony which was based on the south-western coast.
