Kishiro Technologies is one of Kipan's large, vertical group of enterprises, or keiretsu, dedicated to ground-breaking technologies across a wide spectrum of sectors. The company was founded by Katsuhiro Kishiro, who made his name by bioengineering a rice species that was on the verge of extinction due to climate change. Their main rival is Samura Heavy Industries. The two have been engaging in years of proxy wars between their smaller corporate subsidiaries over top-currency contracts offered by the Kipanese Defense Forces. However, though they may not have the brute force of Samura, Kishiro has some of the brightest minds in all of Kipan working for them. The corporation has focused its investment portfolio in biotechnology, alternative energy, optronics, medicines, and information technology. Nishino, their smaller but no less powerful competitor, has come to a 'polite' agreement - neither will compete with the other as long as the other stays out of their core focus areas.

Like many other major corporations, Kishiro spreads its brand through sports sponsorships, both with naming rights on Yokomoto's sports stadium and on the jerseys and equipment of Nakazami's football club, the Diamonds.
