Newbank is the second-largest city in PyeMcGowan with a population of 6.6 Million. The city acts as the cultural capital of PyeMcGowan, as well as being the hub for business in Southerland and the national transport hub. The city boundaries start only 10 miles from the outermost areas of Charleston, making its airport sometimes more useful during peak times of the year.

History

Founding

Newbank was originally founded as a small farming district, between Charleston and Summergate in the early 1600s. The area had a fairly small population until the first proper road connected Charleston and Summergate via Newbank. The City was incorporated in 1657, and became a cultural, business and trade hub in the newly founded Principality of Southerland.
