Etymology

Nuevalta could come frome the old Fragran language roots "Nueva-" meaning new and "Alta-", meaning highness and by derivation mount. During the Aroman Empire era, it was not uncommon to found new cities on natural mountains, easier to defend, sometimes near to the see, where defends could see their opponent and overwatch the trade. Trying to claim a bit of its former overlord's prestige, Lysia named some of its settlements the same way.

Geography

The city of Aurora-Nova is located on the coast of Nuevalta, surrounded by diverse landscapes including forests, mountains, and fertile plains. Its strategic position near the sea facilitates both defense and trade. It is approximately the only city on the island, with the rest remaining undeveloped except for mining operations and a railway (WIP: similar to what can be observed in real Brazil).

The climate is temperate with significant seasonal variation, supporting rich biodiversity, it is an island (WIP: imprecise section due to unknown localisation for now)

Visionnarism prioritizes renewable energy sources, with major investments in solar, wind, and geothermal technologies. The nation aims for carbon neutrality, leveraging advanced research in energy storage and smart grid technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
