The Warden Rangers (Pentian Rangers) are a formation of specialist units that operate under the Warden Defense Corp as part of the Warden Land Army. The Rangers operate both as an independent strike team and in tandem with the rank and file soldier at a division
level, typically acting as sniper teams, or tactical exploit teams. Acting as the spearhead of many offensive operations, or providing supporting fire as secondary units to support regular army units. Regular Army units may be awarded with a Ranger tab if they complete the rigorous training standards the Rangers enforce, however having a tab and being part of a ranger unit are two separate things. However, those with a ranger tab are often paid more and more likely to be given promotions or entrusted with more prestigious duties over their non-ranger counterparts.
Rangers utilize the same equipment for the most part as army units, but are typically expected to operate as light infantry if they are not being utilized elsewhere. They have their own IFVs, Mobility Vehicles and logistical chain integrated at the Divisional level.
