Bitkan is a state in The Incorporated States of Cashar. It is bordered by the states of Qadika and Danar to the north and the Monran Bight to the west. Its capital city is Pasadim.

Etymology

The state of Bitkan gets its name from Kidat Bitkan, a local of the area who led an amateur militia to victory against encroaching raiders. The word "bitkan" comes from the language of Monetok and can be split into two parts: "bit" meaning "salt" or "salty" and "kan" meaning "friendly." Roughly translated, it means "friendly salt." This term refers to someone who is humble or lowly (like the salt of the desert, salt in the ground) but well-connected in their community.
