The House of Odell is an Anglian royal house, which is the reigning house of the Kingdom of Great Anglia. Its current head is King Creighton III. The house takes it name from $origin.

(WIP. There are etymological links with “dell”,[1] implying that the O'Dell name originates in some Anglian valley.)

Heraldry

The blazon in the coat of arms of the House of Odell is described as “Or, a crowned griffin rampant sable.” This means: a black griffin, rampant and crowned, on a gold field. The griffin has raised wings and red tongue out of its mouth. The crown was added in the 17th century when the House of Odell came to the throne of Great Anglia. Their coat of arms finds its origins within Occidental mythology. The first example of this coat of arms is a 15th-century image of the griffin above a castle gate in $origin.[2]

It is also visible above the portico at the family's hunting lodge at Tottington Hall.[3]
