Tavliga Palace

Tavliga Palace is a palace in Tavliga, Transbaltia, that serves as the primary residence of the Grand Duke of Transbaltia, Otto IV and the House of Matensburg-Meußen. It was constructed between 1780 and 1789 and has served as the seat of the Grand Dukes ever since. It was constructed during the reign of Otto I to replace the aging Ducal Palace outside of Tavliga, which had served as the royal seat since 1566. It was built to reflect the great wealth that Transbaltia had built, and to gain the intrest of the aristocracies of Argis. The Palace has been calculated to contain 1,886 doors, 1,945 windows, 1,500 rooms and 117 staircases.
Many rooms have been refurbished into museums and art galleries, of which there are three in the Palace complex. The Palace is the largest income source for the City of Tavliga, and is generally open to the public.
